The Souderton Holiday Parade, presented by Harleysville Bank, is a town-favorite event where the community lines the streets to celebrate a festive and joyful spirit. This heartwarming tradition is a hallmark of the holiday season in our picturesque town. Held the day after the Souderton Tree Lighting – the Parade is the second Souderton Connects’ event every holiday season.
The Souderton Holiday Parade starts at the Summit of Main Street, continues through “The Hollow”, and then travels East on Broad Street to School Lane. The parade begins at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 7, 2024.
The parade features a vibrant and diverse array of participants, including local schools, community and faith organizations, businesses, emergency services, and community members participating “just for the fun of it”. Santa Claus makes an appearance on a fire truck too!
For 2024, the theme of the Holiday Parade is A Vintage Christmas. Participants are encouraged to get creative and decorate their vehicles, floats and themselves in any manner that they interpret the theme.
